Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on the 4th of February 2026.
We at Heartful Therapy are working to make our site Heartful Therapy and www.heartfultherapies.com accessible to people with disabilities.
I am committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and accessible experience for all clients.
I recognise that access needs vary and may include physical, sensory, cognitive, emotional, technological, or mental health considerations. I aim to make both my therapeutic practice and this website as accessible as possible.
Online and in-person sessions:
Art therapy sessions are offered both online and in person. Sessions can be adapted to suit individual needs, including flexible pacing, session structure, communication style, and the way art materials are used. Visual, verbal, and minimal-verbal approaches are all welcome, and there is no pressure to create “finished” artwork.
In-person accessibility:
In-person sessions take place in a therapeutic space that aims to support comfort and accessibility. I welcome conversations about physical access, sensory considerations, and any other needs that may help you feel supported during sessions.
Therapeutic approach:
My practice is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming. Sessions can include breaks when needed, and you are always welcome to move at a pace that feels supportive for you.
Website accessibility:
This website aims to be accessible for screen readers and assistive technologies, uses clear language where possible, and avoids unnecessary visual overload. If you experience any difficulty accessing content on this site, please let me know so I can improve it.
Flexibility & collaboration:
Access needs can change over time. I welcome open conversations about what helps you feel safe, supported, and able to engage fully in therapy. Adjustments are approached collaboratively, with care and respect.
If you have specific accessibility needs or questions, please feel free to contact me, and we can explore supportive options together.
Feedback
I welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Heartful Therapy website. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact me at info@heartfultherapies.com. I take your feedback seriously and will work to address any issues promptly.
Contact Information
